Game & Watch nostaligia

June 5, 2006 on 6:56 pm | In Nostalgia |

Moving offices last week I discovered a Game and Watch of Mario’s Cement Factory from 1983.

Mario's Cement Factory

£1.98 later, I had 2 new batteries installed and was enjoying a trip down memory lane. The problem with nostalgia though is that as you’re eyes mist up you become blind to the shortcomings of anything from your carefree younger days; I love the LED memories it jogs but as a game it wears pretty quickly alongside some other simple flash creations.

I want to rave about it but I think I’ll just leave it on my desk to enhance my ‘retro gamer’ (old man) credibility.
